You down with privacy? How about cats? Then this is the Substack for you!

Here's where I'll collect noteworthy news on Privacy-Enhancing Technology (PETs), the sad state of data protection laws, and probably a few cat memes.

So, all the cool kids are launching Substacks these days, possibly because it allows for more content development/blathering than a typical Twitter post, and prtially because I think we all have aspirations of making money at sharing our thoughts with people.

I’ve tried and failed to do this with Medium a few times, with my own blog on Knowligence, and a few other places, but I’m hoping that, like a diet, maybe this time will be different.

The goal here is pretty simple: Every n days, where n is to be determined by free time, my overall enthusiasm, and whether there’s something to write about, I’ll write a bit about the state of things in data protection/privacy, privacy-enhancing tech that’s really cool, and include a few cat-related memes/errata. There might also be other things, but I want to keep it nice and simple for now.

If you like what I have to say on my Twitter, and have a slightly longer attention span, you probably should sign up. It’s free for now, and probably will remain that way for a long, long time.
